As one of the
most recognized criminal defense firms in the Southeast, Manny
Arora and Michael LaScala successfully advocate for their
clients, including hockey star Dany Heatley and the NFL's Adam "Pacman"
Jones.
"Our clients aren't case numbers," says Arora, founding partner.
"We understand that being accused of a crime or a DUI impacts
your family and professional well-being. We go beyond the
courtroom and strive to minimize those negative effects. In many
instances, we employ a great deal of discretion. Other
situations such as those in the 'court of public opinion,'
require media guidance. We also work with employers and
governing boards to help clients rebuild their reputations and
get back on track."
Arora graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelor's degree in
nuclear engineering before entering Georgia State University for
his law degree. He began his career as a prosecutor for the U.S.
Air Force. He then moved on to serve as a prosecutor in the
homicide division of the Fulton County District Attorney's
office. Prior to opening Arora & LaScala, he was a partner with
Garland, Samuel & Loeb.
Arora continues to serve as a lieutenant colonel in the Air
Force Reserve. Named by the Indian Express as one of the top 10
Asian lawyers in the United States, he regularly provides legal
analysis on a variety of radio and television programs.
LaScala's experience as a solicitor provides unique insight into
the justice system and its prosecutors. He began his career at
the City Court of Atlanta, where he prosecuted hundreds of
cases, including drug offenses and DUI's. For the past decade,
LaScala has specialized in criminal law, primarily DUI defense.
LaScala is a former chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the
Atlanta Bar Association. He earned his bachelor's degree from
the University of Georgia and his law degree from Loyola
University. |
