If you were arrested for DUI or DWI and either refused a field sobriety breath test, or took the field sobriety breath test and blew a .08 or higher BAC (Blood Alcohol Content), the state of Georgia will suspend your driver’s license unless you adhere to the 10 Day Rule. To prevent the automatic suspension of your driver’s license, you must file an appeal to the Office for State Administrative Hearings within 10 days of your arrest.
